SMALL ANGLE X-RAY SCATTERING (BIOSAXS)

Small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) can reveal the 3D structures of biological proteins in their natural state at nanometer resolution.

Helix offers experienced small-angle X-ray scattering experiments for biological samples (such as protein, protein-protein complexes, protein-DNA complexes, etc.). Our BioSAXS service is designed to achieve routine data collection on proteins (or protein complexes) in solution with the goal to determine their three-dimensional structures in a natural state with nanometer resolution (i.e. protein envelopes). Our beamline is equipped with an automated sample changer, a Pilatus 1M detector, and an HPLC system to give high-quality results.
