Helix Adds Thermo Fisher Vitrobot for Seamless Cryo-EM Processing
Helix is excited and proud to have a Vitrobot™ from Thermo Fisher Scientific™ for our Cryo-EM services. This state-of-the-art Thermo Fisher Scientific™ Vitrobot™ System will expedite our Cryo-EM process, which now includes a gene to grid with no freeze-thaw cycle. Purified protein will come off the filtration column and be directly vitrified after that. Enhance efficiency with no structural protein issue due to the absence of the thawing step.
Helix is excited to announce the onboarding of Kyung-Hoon Lee!
Kyung has broad knowledge and experience in molecular biology and biochemistry, including strain engineering, protein expression, purification, characterization, process development, optimization, and automation. Before joining the Helix team, he led multiple large-scale protein production projects and supported regulatory studies and safety assessments of Ag industry products for its global registration.
